Great day for a Parade!
Waiting outside the Scotiabank for "The Station" and watching the Bicycle Music Festival roll by, a bike-powered concert in Grange Park this afternoon.
Although an interest in film took root during my high school years, my first encounter with the Toronto Festival of Festivals occurred in 1986, when I "rushed" three films to see what it was like. And so a tradition began, which has continued almost uninterrupted to this day.
TIFF 2020 will be my 35th film festival in Toronto.
